Resolution of the Graduate Studies Council Regarding the Nullification of Failing Grades

Attention Dear Students:

According to the resolution of the Graduate Studies Council, if a student fails one or more courses in any semester but later successfully passes the same course(s) in subsequent semesters, the previous failing grades can be rectified and replaced.

Please note that if the failing grades are nullified, both the original failing and the subsequent passing grades will appear on the student’s transcript, but the failing grades will not be included in the GPA calculation.

It is also important to note that the nullification of failing grades can only be applied after the student has completed all the required academic credits (at the time of graduation).
