    Introducing the International Campus of Kish

    The establishment of the Kish International Campus located on Kish Island was planned and prepared following the university's strategic plan to rank among the top 100 universities in the world along with becoming a third generation university. To help with the nation's progress, this campus was planned and built while considering the existing research and educational resources in the Persian Gulf and the potential for enhancing global communications.
    This unit's primary activities include:
    • entering the market of global competition to offer services in education and research
    • establishing a global campus (open education) center on an international campus with a focus on attracting non-Iranian students and Iranians living abroad while adhering to the necessary standards
    • Launching an International Convention Center
    • Launching an incubator and accelerator for knowledge-based startups
    The educational activities of Kish International Campus officially began its activities in February 2019 with the admission of students in the following four master's-level majors, in collaboration with AUT’s department of Management, Science, and Technology and the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
    • Business Management (MBA)
    • Information Technology Engineering (IT)
    • Safety, Health and Environment Engineering (HSE)
    • Civil Engineering – Construction Management (CEM)
    One of the short-term objectives of this unit is increasing the expertise of managers and senior experts in organizations, particularly in the fields of management, entrepreneurship, marine, oil and gas, and information technology. Students are accepted to Kish International Campus through a specific test and review of their academic and research backgrounds in accordance with the requirements and permits related to a global university. Our campus gives managers and others with relevant work experience an opportunity to complement their academic knowledge with their practical experience and advance their career.
